Auger, Gater Grapples, BSA100

The BSA100 Auger from Gater Grapples is ideal for boring multiple size holes in wood, digging post holes and other applications. It was initially designed to drill holes in log booms and sticks used to prevent debris from entering the spillway of power generation dams.

The boom incorporates 120 degrees of rotation for vertical or horizontal positioning and 48” of stroke. The unit’s control system gives the operator complete control of the tool speed (rpm), feed rate and boom rotation. With the push of a button, the operator can quickly change tool bits. A hydraulically actuated spike stabilizes the tool by anchoring it to the material being bored.

The BSA100 is suitable for loader backhoes, skid steers, excavators and tractor-loaders in the 20-30 HP class.
