Komatsu Ltd. has recently announced that Komatsu Forest AB, a wholly owned subsidiary, is going to acquire Log Max AB and Log Max, Inc. Komatsu is working to complete the acquisition by the end of November 2012, assuming approval by concerned authorities. 
Log Max AB is a Sweden-based manufacturer of forest machine attachments that offers an extensive range of simple structured, high-reliability harvester heads in small to large sizes. Harvester heads made by Log Max and Komatsu Forest AB are mutually complementary in type of harvesting and tree sizes.
